VCOM.COM Announces the Launch of Microsoft Passport at its E-commerce Web Site

VCOM.COM Corporation announced today the formation of a strategic relationship with Microsoft Corp., the worldwide leader in software for personal computers. This relationship gives VCOM.COM the opportunity to reach the Microsoft Passport customer base of over 40 million people.

By joining the new Passport program, VCOM.COM customers can now have added privacy and security while signing up for and purchasing services. Passport substantially reduces the number of steps necessary to buy services on the VCOM.COM web site. A single click takes members directly to their Passport wallet for a streamlined, consistent purchase process.

"We expect this strategic relationship to boost awareness of the VCOM.COM brand and help to drive traffic from Microsoft's loyal customer base," said Robert Stark, President and co-founder of VCOM.COM. "Microsoft has dedicated customers, so our agreement not only exposes VCOM.COM to a wider online audience, but we also hope it plays a role in increasing loyalty among VCOM.COM users."

"Microsoft Passport lowers barriers to e-commerce for the millions of online consumers," said Josh Herst, Group Product Manager, Consumer and Commerce Group, Microsoft Corp. "We're excited that VCOM.COM is using the Passport service to deliver a better experience for their customers."

VCOM.COM is harnessing the power of the Internet for use in distributing both traditional and emerging communications services. The Company owns and operates its e-commerce web site at http://www.vcom.com. This web site offers a superstore approach to the sale and management of communications services. It is the first self-service communications center geared for a mass market of customers.

From this web site, the Company also offers numerous free services. Such services include Internet-initiated calling, a national telephone directory, email, online address book, and calendar.
